Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use Nowl Hub, the free games site run by Elias Ioannou, trading as Neon Owl Studios ("we", "us"). By playing, as a guest or with an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your data.
Who can play
You must be at least 14 to use Nowl Hub. If you're under the age of adulthood where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
Your account
- Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
- One person per account, and don't create accounts to get around a ban, limits or rewards.
- Usernames must not pretend to be someone else (including staff) and must not be offensive.
- You can delete your account at any time from your profile.
Be decent
Don't:
- harass, threaten, bully or hate on anyone, or post sexual content, gore, or anything illegal;
- post other people's personal information, or ask players (especially younger ones) for theirs;
- spam, advertise, or post links to scams or malware;
- cheat: use bots, scripts, exploits or multiple accounts to win, farm rewards or manipulate trades and the market;
- attack the site, overload it, or try to get into accounts or data that aren't yours.
If you find a bug or security hole, please report it instead of using it. You'll often be rewarded for it.
Moderation
Chat is filtered automatically and may be reviewed by moderators. We can remove content, mute, reset progress, or suspend or ban accounts and IP addresses that break these rules, with or without a warning. If you think we got it wrong, email eioannou99@gmail.com.
What you post
You keep ownership of drawings and other things you create. By posting them on Nowl Hub, you allow us to show, copy and use them on the site and in posts about the site. Drawings that become card art or items can be owned and traded by other players, and they stay in the game even if you later delete your account. Only post work you made yourself and have the right to share.
Coins, cards and items
Coins, cards, items and other rewards are part of the game. They are not money, have no real-world value, can't be exchanged for money, and you don't own them as property. Buying, selling or trading them for real money or anything outside the game isn't allowed. We may change, rebalance or reset game items and economies, for example to fix a bug or an exploit.
The service
Nowl Hub is free and provided "as is". We work to keep it running, but games may change, go offline, lose progress in rare cases, or be removed. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses or for losing in-game progress or items. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the date at the top and announce big changes on the site. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the new terms.
